Gordon passed on from this life September 29, peacefully and surrounded by the love of his family. He tried so hard to stay but was unable to. Gordon leaves behind his son, Sam Tate and Sam's mother, Kate Tate. He also leaves his brothers Doug, Dave and Victor and sisters Norma, Betty and Linda, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was especially proud of and close to his nephews Kyle and Dustin. He is predeceased by his parents, Ida and Sam, and his brothers Don and Leonard. Gordon was a hard-working and gentle man who embodied living a good life. He will be greatly missed and forever loved.
Please come help us celebrate Gord's life. A viewing and wake will be held on Friday, October 7, 2022 at 11am at the Unitarian Universalist Church located at 603 Wellington Crescent.

A kind and gentle man..quiet, but hard working. Very smart on computers.
He was a warrior and a fighter to the end.
